Subject: Reminder - Game Against White Sox Tommorrow Morning at Spring Street
Dear Team:

This is a reminder. Weather permitting, we have a game scheduled tomorrow morning against the White Sox at Spring Street Field. Please have your player at the field no later than 9:45 a.m. Besides warm-ups where we will work on the basics of throwing and catching, we also will work on two basic skills: (1) staying in position / covering correctly; and (2) hitting a pitched ball. Coaches pitch will begin next week in the League, I believe. Please let me know if your player will or will not make the Saturday game.

There are a number of ways to determine whether the game has been called due to field conditions:

(1) Call the Rec Commission hotline for field conditions: 738-6644
(2) Call the Pelham Little League Office for field conditions: 738-7555
(3) Sign up at the PelhamLittleLeague.org Web Site for the E-Mail Blast List and you will receive email notification
(4) Check your e-mail for a message from me
(5) Check the Team Web site at http://PelhamPirates.blogspot.com
(6) As a last resort, go to the field to see if a red flag has been posted signifying the field is closed

Best regards,

Blake
