Dear Team:

The league has released the season schedules. I have attached two files. The first is the schedule issued by the league for all teams including the Pirates. The second is a more user-friendly schedule that I have created for our team alone. I have posted the attached team schedule to the team Web site so that it remains easily accessible to you.

Our season opener will be this Saturday, April 25 at 11:30 a.m. against the Marlins at Spring Street Field. The weather is expected to be glorious.

I am trying to arrange a practice field for Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. If I cannot arrange a field, we will find a place to practice that evening!

The weather forecast for this evening's practice looks bleak. Nevertheless, keep your fingers crossed and watch your e-mail and the team Web site for updates on field status.
