Subject: Uniforms and Monday Evening Practice

Dear Team:

I received the team's jerseys last night. I will have them available this evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and also tomorrow evening from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 20 Beech Tree Lane. I also will have pants, caps and socks for those who have not yet received them.

If you are unable to pick up uniform materials either Thursday evening or Friday evening, please let me know and I'll do my best to connect with you before the parade on Saturday morning.

I have not received another practice field from the League yet. Nevertheless, I am scheduling another practice for Monday, April 20 at Spring Road Field from 6:30 p.m. to dusk. Please let me know if your player can or cannot attend. This field is adjacent to the Southbound side of the Hutchinson River Parkway. From Pelham take the Boston Post Road heading toward the Bronx. Go under the Hutchinson River Parkway overpass and make the first left immediately before "Knucklehead's Tavern" onto Spring Road. The field is located about 2/10's of a mile on the left. The parking lot is about 100 yards before the field. We do not have a permit for the field, but will be able to practice in one of the three adjacent grassy areas if the field is in use at that time. Much of our last practice was spent on the basics of throwing and catching. Much of Monday's practice will be spent on the basics of hitting. You may wish to have your player review the following training videos which only take a few minutes to watch:

The league has told us that schedules will be ready by tomorrow but that our games likely will not begin until about April 25. However, the schedule remains up in the air until a meeting scheduled for tonight is held.
